Yun is a bioinformatician passionate about applying and developing cutting-edge methodologies in data science for precision medicine studies.
Yun obtained her PhD in Bioinformatics from the School of Computing at the University of Kent in the UK, as well as MSc and BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Tianjin Medical University in China. Prior to advancing her career in the UK, Yun worked in the healthcare industry at Medtronic Ltd in China.
In IMCM, Yun dedicates her time to developing pipelines for omics and clinical data analysis, providing computational tools to facilitate experts from various fields in collaboratively investigating data, and accelerating the translation of early research discoveries into applicable industry solutions.
